Excellent place to relax & read a magazine
Talcott Library is, by far, my favorite library in the Stateline Area. The librarians are ever so kind. The prices of movie rentals are very reasonable ($0.25) and the children's programs are phenomenal. The library has at least three available time per week for "Story Hour" and a newsletter sent out to all interested parents (addressed to the kids). Further, every week throughout the summer, the librarians run the most tremendous summer reading program for adults and children - replete with pizza parties, swimming nights, magicians and many local activities and parades. I recommend this library to all my neighbors and friends. As a matter of fact, it's not even my "local library", but it's worth the drive for me and my two children aged 7 and 4.
My favorite place to go!
This is hands-down the BEST library in town. Scratch that, its the best library. period!!! LOVE the staff, amazing young adult section, kids programs, the list goes on and on!! The librarians are the friendliest, warmest bunch of ladies you will ever find!!! They also have a very good selection of music & movies.
